Value of food – where to put the focus?

I’d like to write something about the value of our food these days. Since so many get confused about what to eat. We all want to look good, be fully energized,  hormone balanced ! But that you don’t get in a click and a number count. It’s a lifestyle that will alter as your life will change in the years.  In lot’s of diets the focus is on calories, fats and proteins. So here is my holistic  point of view: stop picking your brain!

Here is a quote from a doctor that wrote “wellness secrets for life”. A small sidestep in my personal experience with this book is that his

mineral- balance recipe has helped me heal from heavy metal intoxication. I bought the book 15 years ago, took measures and made a choice to invest in my health getting the top quality minerals and superfoods, eating a low- glycemic diet. This quote is still very in-line with what is going on these days.

That what i hold very dearly to my heart is that we are to remember our health is not measured in a month , we need to know we have a choice – (and especially as busy parents) therefore plan consistently every day our food, exercises, stress- lowering activities.  The choices for our bodies to be balanced and healthy. I’m not saying its easy! I’m saying that choosing holistic health is making a choice in mindset –  to respect the time you need to take for your wellbeing. <3

Concluding with this, please stop counting calories- that by itself causes so much stress 🙂
