I’d like to write something about the value of our food these days. Since so many get confused about what to eat. We all want to look good, be fully energized, hormone balanced ! But that you don’t get in a click and a number count. It’s a lifestyle that will alter as your life will change in the years. In lot’s of diets the focus is on calories, fats and proteins. So here is my holistic point of view: stop picking your brain!
Here is a quote from a doctor that wrote “wellness secrets for life”. A small sidestep in my personal experience with this book is that his
mineral- balance recipe has helped me heal from heavy metal intoxication. I bought the book 15 years ago, took measures and made a choice to invest in my health getting the top quality minerals and superfoods, eating a low- glycemic diet. This quote is still very in-line with what is going on these days.
“our foods vary enormously in value, and some of them aren’t worth eating as food. OUR physical
well-being is more directly dependent upon minerals we take into our system than upon calories or vitamins or upon the portion of starch, protein or cabs we consume. Lacking vitamins, the system can make some use of minerals, but lacking minerals, vitamins are useless.” A. True Ott.phd.
That what i hold very dearly to my heart is that we are to remember our health is not measured in a month , we need to know we have a choice – (and especially as busy parents) therefore plan consistently every day our food, exercises, stress- lowering activities. The choices for our bodies to be balanced and healthy. I’m not saying its easy! I’m saying that choosing holistic health is making a choice in mindset – to respect the time you need to take for your wellbeing. <3
Concluding with this, please stop counting calories- that by itself causes so much stress 🙂

Roan is named after these Rowan berries. the name came in a dream when i was pregnant 5 months. A tree with a story.
#Repost @angelina.naturalis ・・・ Rönnbär. Rowen berries. Sorbus aucuparia. I love these beautiful berries and their sour flavor. A few a day goes a long way. By Sami and folks in the north of Russia this is an important source of C vitamin through the winter. The leaf buds taste like bitteralmonds and the leaf is said to contain even more C- vitamins than the berries along with a lot of iron. Leaves makes good green balls, buds can be put in cookie recipes where bitter almonds normaly are used, berries can be eaten directly (specially if you have a cold) or put in raw balls, smoothies, jams and cakes. Birds looove them! 🌿🐦
This tree grows up in the far north of Sweden, where the midnight sun is still shining its light on the berries, infusing them with infra-red sunlight which creates a superior content of medicine and antioxidants; another ingenious solution in Nature to provide strong and nutrient dense plants where the climate is cold and winters long.
waking up in nature! feet in the sweet daw drops, joy of morning light waking us. 🦊🌞 great to be outdoor with kids finding Karl Johan mushrooms in the forest.
